Phil & Margaret Jones - April 2012
Just returned from this really attractive and peaceful site. It is modern, with excellent facilities and so well planned. It is kept SPOTLESSLY CLEAN!!! Steve and Margaret made us feel very welcome and were very helpful, lending us tools to make some urgent repairs. This is one of the best sites we have visited in many years of caravanning.
Steve & Jo Ellis - April 2012
We found Long Acres by chance on the internet. It is the nicest caravan park we have ever visited. Steve even bought all the visitors an Easter egg each on Easter Sunday!. Will definately be back one day.
Ken and Ruth Brabin - April 2012
This site is a little gem. We stayed 6 nights. Steve was very friendly and helpful - he even helped push the van into position when we arrived. The toilet block is one of the nicest we have seen. ( If you are at the far end of the site, however, there is a bit of a walk for water ) Steve - it was a pleasure to meet you and we will be back next time we are in Lincolnshire.

Although our stay was cut short because of personal problems at home, the two nights that we stayed at Long Acres were fantastic. Steve and Margaret were very friendly and helpful. We were especially grateful to Steve for his help in putting up our awning as we are newcomers to touring and have never erected an awning before. (We also had help from one of the other campers but unfortunately did not get his name). The site is very well looked after and the toilet and shower block is immaculate. Unfortunately we did not have a chance to look around the area but did manage to have a meal at the Admiral Nelson which we can highly recommend. We will definitely go back to this lovely site.

We have just got back from a fabulous weekend staying at Long Acres. When we arrived it was hounding down with rain but we were still greeted by Steve (Although very drenched) The site is lovely and absolutely spotless. Even though we had lots of rain the first night because the roads are hardstanding there was no mud anywhere. Toilets & Showers always spotless. This is 5 star and we will definitely return. Well done Margaret & Steve it was a pleasure to stay.
Ken & Helen Sparks - August 2011
We are here at Long Acres at the moment and have just eaten a delightful dessert baked by Margaret and delivered by Steve. This is our second visit this year and fourth in all. We will be back next year too all being well. It is a fantastic site, second to none, located perfectly for visiting Lincolnshire. Can't praise Steve & Margaret enough. August 2011
Dave and Karen Harding - August 2011 - August 2011
We have just returned from a lovely relaxing few nights at Long Acres. Steve and Margaret are freindly and helpful, who have an immaculate site that exceeds some of the tranquile sites we have visited. Thank you and we will definately return.
Margaret & Stuart Darlington - August 2011
Margaret, Stuart & Solo (Barnsley) August 2011 Just returned after 7 nights at this gem of a site, with first class facilities, all kept to a very high standard which is second to none. On arrival was welcomed by Margaret and later by Steve the proud owners, and justly so, of this excellent site, both were very freindly and helpful giving any information required and directing us to a comprehensive information building, well set out with leaflets, maps and full information on the area. If you want peace and tranquillity this is for you, situated between Boston and Skegness in lovely rural surroundings, with delightful quite lanes for walking the dog (Solo), such as alongside the Hobhole Drain or a steady walk to the Butchers Arms for a welcoming beer at a reasonable price at Old Leake where there is also a well stocked shop. Within a short drive there are several pubs that serve meals, along with quaint villages and other attractions. This new site is beautifully landscaped with each pitch even having its own bird feeder (a nice touch), the toilet/shower block is kept spotless, as is all the site, plenty of hot water and piped music which is very pleasant, the block also has a disabled toilet and dish washing facilities, with a small freezer for ice packs. The site is secured at night with subdued lighting throughout. This is the best site we've ever been on and will be back again and again; we would recommend this top class site to anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, relaxing time. top marks, good luck and many thanks to Margaret and Steve, not forgetting Max the dog.
Alan & Wendy - August 2011
Having been caravaning for about 12 years now we can honestly say that this is one the most pleasent, clean and quite sites we have stayed on. Margaret & Steve made us very welcome from the minute we drove onto the site. The site itself is spotless and the facilities are second to none. Certainly a site to return to and one to recommend to friends.
Darren & Mandy July 2011 - July 2011

june 2011 motorhome. just got back from this lovely site everthing spot on. very helpful owners, great area for cycling loads of quite lanes will be back
Jacky4me - September 2010 - June 2011
At the end of a 3 week tour around Scotland we had spent the previous night on a site in Durham which turned out to be a nightmare as we had not got much sleep due to road noise, and could not use their dirty showers, so we were in desperate need of peace and tranquillity and some first class facilities, so having found this gem of a site back in April we decided it was just what we needed! As when we stayed back in April we got a very warm welcome from the owners Steve and Margaret who are a very friendly helpful couple who run a first class site which they keep to a very high standard. As I wrote in my last review this site is absolutely first class and its facilities second to none! If you are looking for peace and tranquillity then this is the place for you. The surrounding area has lovely quiet lanes for walking or cycling, and there are plenty of places to visit, including Coniston air base (if you are interested in fighter jets) or Boston town centre where you will find all the shops and eating places you could want. Skegness is a short drive away for a lovely day out. Also nearby are Frieston shore & Frampton marsh RSPB reserves, Gibralter point, Westgate wood & Sir Joseph Banks country park, Grange & Beech wood, Witham country park and the Witham walk where you come across the Boston Pendulum viewing tower, which provides spectacular views of the landscape. All the information leaflets you need for these are in the well laid out information hut, or just ask Steve or Margaret who are happy to provide you with any additional information or maps. So this site is the perfect base, whatever your needs.
Samandgavin - April 2011 - June 2011
Wow what a really good site. Really peaceful. Owners very friendly, always checking everything is fine, but not in your face. Toilets kept really clean and site nice and tidy There is a 5mph limit on site which your told straight away about, although half of the people didn't take notice.Around and about there are nice quiet lanes to walk about with dog No on-site shop which some people may find off putting, although not an issue for us there is a Co Op just down road, didn't use but I'm sure it has all the necessaryAll in all a 10/10 site, the owners deserve a big pat on back in making it lovelyReally great being adult only as really lovely Easter weather which wasn't spoilt by kids, all we heard was birds chirping - blissWill be back as soon as.
Jacky4me - March 2011 - June 2011
Our third stay here and it was just as lovely and peaceful as always! Steve and Margaret are such very friendly people and always have time for a chat, even though Steve has an outside job. The facilities are still 5 star and in pristine condition, there is also an addition of a small fridge/freezer, and also each site has its own bird table and feeder which you can buy seeds/peanuts on site for a very reasonable price! The bird life is good and for the first time we saw a Red Kite flying over the site as well as the usual Buzzards. Whether cycling/walking or driving the area has a lot to offer with the beautiful Wolds close by.Boston and Skegness are also a short drive away, and for aeronautic enthusiasts RAF Coningsby is a 40 minute drive away where you can get very close to fighter jets, Spitfires etc. We enjoyed our stay very much and are looking forward to going back soon!

Returned home today after a 7 night stay at this very very clean site. The facility block is the cleanest we have come across on our travels. What a brilliant site, I am so glad I stumbled on it when looking on the Web for sites to visit. We were made very welcome on arrival, owners very friendly, nothing was to much trouble for them to help and advise, weather it was for a cycle route, direction's as the road was closed at the railway on our departure. It's a very pleasant quite site, just the sound of birds singing, it felt very welcoming when we entered the driveway to the site. the newly built toilet/ shower block was always kept nice and clean, piped radio music when you entered, lovely hot showers, in fact nothing to moan about. We shall be back, and will be recommending to friends as well
Keith & Sharon - May 2009

Anom - May 2009

Force - May 2009
Top draw site. First class facilities, well managed. The owners are a hard working couple and are very friendly. Best site we have stayed on. The area is quiet, and the nearest pub about 15 min's walk. Good beer and 50 pence a pint cheaper than our local so we were well happy. Skegness 25mins in the car. Surrounding area is very flat, ideal for cycling. We ate out twice at a pub named The Admiral [about 5 miles from the site] good grub and very reasonable prices. The site is a good base as there is not a lot in the immediate vicinity, boston is worth a visit and skeggy is much improved since we were there last. We enjoyed our stay and will go there again. Steve and Margaret deserve to succeed with the effort they are putting into the site.
Chris & Hazel - May 2009

What a fantastic site! - April 2009
My wife and I spent the Easter weekend staying at Longacres, and from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was fantastic. Situated in a lovely rural location, nestled between Boston and Skegness, the site is brand new with the most fantastic facilities. (The only site I've been to where you have music played piped into the toilet block!) We were welcomed by Steve and Margaret (the owners) like old friends when we arrived and were looked after very well. The pitches are all gravel hard standing with landscaping between. Most pitches are separated by trees or grass so you don't feel crowded at all. I strongly recommend visiting this gem as soon as possible before word gets around and you find it's fully booked!
Grimsby28 - September 2008
Just got back from this site what a wonderful site it is if you want peace and quiet then this is the one for you. It is absolutely spotless toilet and shower blocks second to none owners very friendly and welcoming also max as well the dog. A site to truly recommend for adults only. The washing up area inside which you don't find at many sites also spotless. Will most certainly be going back here.
MC31 - August 2008
We have just returned from a week at long acres, If you are looking for peace + quiet this is the place to be, very well presented site clean + tidy. The owners steve +margaret have worked hard on this site, pitches all hard standing with plenty of room between neighbours, separated by trees some of them are apple. Shower block brand new all mod cons. If you turn right at site entrance and walk towards railway line then cross road and go over bridge there is a good dog walk at side of canal (hobhole drain). Go left pub 1 mile walk. Local shop in old leake about 10min drive sell everything. We will return enjoyed our stay.
Janie100 - August 2008
Have just spent 4 extremely pleasant nights at this very new and inviting site. We were welcomed by Max (and owner) who is a lovely dog who apparently is one for the ladies! The site is clean and has a lovely shower block, all new build. Showers are good (and nice liquid soap to wash hands with - good touch), washing up area gladly inside rather than some sites where you are under cover but still in the cold! Pitches are of good size but thankfully we only took our 4 berth tent as we felt our 6 berth would probably have been difficult to pitch, due to size. Met some lovely people from Derbyshire (only 4 others on site at this time) and hope to meet them again here sometime. Surrounding area completely flat but lets face it we were in the Fens! No pubs in immediate vicinity but for us that wasn't a problem. Lots to see and do though if that's what you are looking for. So, anyone looking for a relaxing, chilled time camping/caravanning then this site definitely gets a 10/10
HMV4u - August 2008
Just returned from a weekend on this lovely new site, excellent facilities(as stated above)and a rural location along with the friendly and helpful owners made this an enjoyable visit. Its obvious a lot of time and money has been spent and it wont take long once the word has spread to give them the success they so richly deserve.
D4rr3ll - August 2008
Stayed here for 2 nights at the start of August, the site had only been open a week and we had the entire place to ourselves. The owners have put a lot of work into the site and the facilities are excellent. The facilities block has two sinks for dish washing, the gents has two showers, two toilets, three sinks, and two urinals, and for the ladies two showers, three toilets and four sinks. The showers were very good, proper rain head, plenty of pressure and hot. The disabled toilet and shower is very impressive too. All pitches are have a hard standing area and a grass pitch, plus all have EHU. The site is sheltered by hedges on either side and is lit at night, not too much to keep you awake in the tent though. I'd thoroughly recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a quiet relaxing time.
